Burcham Hills
Burcham Hills saw nurse turnover fall 70% in the first year after managers conducted stay interviews with each employee.
Not only did nurse turnover fall a full 70% but new nurse turnover decreased, too. The CEO set a goal that 90% of all newly-hired nurses would stay at least 6 months so hiring managers conducted two stay interviews during that period. Since then all newly-hired nurses, 100 percent, have stayed at least that long. Stay Interviews were the only solutions Burcham Hills managers applied to reach these remarkable and measurable improvements.
